Alright… So, I decided to put up yet another layout. I personally like this one much, much better. Its very simple and clean. I like that. Let me know what you guys think.
Okay, so the pixel art page might not be up for a while due to the fact that my boyfriend just got a job, therefore his time will be limited as will mine- I need to start spending more time with my horse. Once both of us get a break and he gets more pixels made, I will let you know when I can get the page up.
Besides whats going on with the site a lot has been going on… I found out why Rowdy’s hind legs are giving him some problems- the tissue around his hock is torn. On BOTH legs. This means that whenever he trots or canters his tendon flips and he looses his balance. Doesn’t sound pleasant, does it? And… of course… the condition is pretty rare and when the tendon flips, its not consistant which makes it even more odd… My vet didn’t even know what to tell me to do- whether or not to work him harder, or to stall rest him. So, he called a surgeon and some co-workers and there is a surgery for the problem, however the surgeon that would preform it has never done it before. Plus, the surgery has been done so little that there are no records of if it actually worked, or if it made it worse. So, the best advice he could give me was that I should just let him be a horse. I’m not allowed to work him whatsoever and he is to be turned out in a smaller paddock away from the other horses. The thing that really sucks is that the vet said that this injury is like a ligament injury- it takes forever to heal, or scar down. I can’t imagine not riding for more than 1 month… horseback riding is like a drug for me… I love it and I can’t get enough. Grrr… why do all of my horses have to get rare diseases and shit? Its like I’m not ment to have a HEALTHY horse. GAH!

As it is now 12:26 in the morning, I’m going to make this VERY short… I just finished coding the new layout- What do you guys think? I’m not too thrilled with it, but I love the colors and the pictures… I don’t know… The set-up just seems odd. Hmmm… whatever. After a long night at work, I don’t really care right now. One more thing, icons are on the way along with something new! Yes, completely new. My boyfriend does amazing pixel art, so I asked him if he would be interested in making some for the site, and he is happy to do it. SO, a new page will be added for pixel art! Yay!

Well, I’ve been quite busy… My boyfriend and I bought a guinea pig! We got him the day after The Dark Knight was released, so we named him Joker! He is the cutest little thing ever with black and brown fur. I’ll try to get pictures of him up here soon ^^ The movie, by the way, was amazing. Heath Ledger should absolutely 100% receive an Oscar. The sad thing is that he won’t be able to walk up on stage and reveive it himself… But, he should get it regardless. Hopefully I’ll have the layout I’m working on up. Its featuring him playing the joker. Gosh, he did such an amazing job… He made me laugh, and jump at his odd movements, glares, and shouts. Outstanding. Along with the new layout, I will try to bring you guys new content. I know I haven’t added anything in a while, but I’ve been really busy with friends, Rowdy (sick yet again…), Matt, Joker, and work. I will try my best to hurry up and get everything up.

Anyway, I just wanted to update you guys on whats up. Hopefully my next blog will be longer… x.x

Hi guys, sorry I haven’t updated in a while. I’ve been pretty busy with Rowdy, work, and friends. This is just going to be a short update to let you all know that I am in fact still alive.
First of all, Rowdy is doing better. His eye will deffinately have to be removed sometime in the near future, however it seems that he is coping with it well and he is no longer in pain. Thank you for all of your support and prayers. As for work, I’m getting in more hours now that its summer which is both good and bad. I love the money, however its not my idea of fun. At least most of the people I work with are nice. And friends, well… I’m finding it quite difficult to keep in touch with all of them while doing everything else. Hopefully they understand… although, I’m sure they do. As for the website, I have a new layout made. Its themed “Shawn of the Dead,” one of my favorite movies. I will try to get it up sometime soon along with some avatars I made about 2 weeks ago that I have yet to put up as well. Keep an eye out for the new layout… later.

Well, today the vet came out to look at my horse, Rowdy. His eye had been giving him some troubles and was really blurry. Today it was especially bad. Of course, my worst nightmares came true when I found out that he deffinately has moon blindness (I forget the technical term he gave it). The vet said that the outbreaks can be treated, however the disease cannot. He said that Rowdy’s eye looks really bad and that hes almost completely blind in it. When the vet moved his hand into Rowdys eye, like he was going to hit him, he didn’t even flinch. I don’t even think he knew his hand was there! For the next few days I have to go up to the barn twice a day to give him 3 different types of medicines. One, orally which shouldn’t be a problem at all however the other two need to go directly into his eye. Huh, yeah, thats going to be fun. He gave the vet absolute HELL today, so I dunno how its going to work with short little me doing it x.x Ugh. Oh well, I just want him to get better. I hate my poor little baby in so much pain. Not to mention, if Rowdy’s eye doesn’t get better and just gets worse, the more pain he’ll be in. I asked the vet “What then?” and he said that he would suggest surgery to remove his eye. Yeah, needless to say, I cried A LOT when I got home. It might sound funny, but I have so many things floating through my head right now. Like, “Would we be able to afford surgery?” “Will he EVER regain sight?” “How hard will riding him be with a single eye?”… Plus, I know how it feels to be blind in one eye. When I was a year old I had a cataract in my eye. It was removed not long after my parents had discovered it, but I never regained full sight. Its not fun, and I don’t want my baby to face a life without seeing anything at all. Hes only 6! Hes still a baby! *Sigh*… I’m just so depressed right now… Please pray for him.
